Appellate

When your business has suffered a trial loss or if you have won a valuable judgment that you need to protect on appeal, you don’t want to settle for anything less than an experienced appellate practitioner. At the same time, you don’t want to spend more than is necessary to protect your interests at the next level. Our firm’s appellate roots run deep and our rates are affordable.

Our lead attorney Eric Storm is a former briefing attorney for the Texas Supreme Court and a member of the United States Supreme Court bar. Mr. Storm has twice served as counsel of record on certiorari petitions to our nation’s highest court. He has also taken the lead role for argument and briefing to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and has briefed matters for real parties and amici before the Texas Supreme Court and several other Texas courts of appeals. Within the last year alone, Mr. Storm filed a petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court, an amicus brief and a response to a petition for writ of mandamus to the Texas Supreme Court, an emergency interlocutory appeal and a separate direct appeal to the Third Court of Appeals in Austin Texas, and a response to an interlocutory appeal and a response to a mandamus petition to the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas.
